Bill Vandervennet, Jr., BSN, MHSA, CHE
Chief Operating Officer

Bill Vandervennet brings over 25 years in healthcare delivery and management– including more than a decade of executive experience–to his role as LHI's Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Vandervennet has worked in a number of healthcare insurance and managed care organizations, serving both public and private sector clients. He was Division President of Health Services Central Region for MAXIMUS, Inc., and spent 9 years with WellPoint (formerly Anthem, Inc.) where he held several executive positions developing and delivering managed care services.

A committed community volunteer, Mr. Vandervennet serves on the boards of several charitable organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Wayne State University, a Master of Health Services Administration degree from the University of Michigan, and a Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) designation from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
